Am I a Medium, Psychic, or Intuitive?

My clients and students often wonder what their spiritual abilities are.. “Am I a Medium, Psychic, or Intuitive?” is a question that I hear that a lot.

I used to wonder the same thing until I learned the meanings.

All Mediums can be psychic to perceive energy through their Mind & Aura.. but not all Psychics are Mediums.

Movies unfortunately have “educated” us in an incorrect way.

Psychic does not just mean giving messages about the past, present, and future, and mediumship does not only mean “talking to dead people.”

Here’s a quick break down:

Intuition is the ability to perceive messages from Spirit (Spirit Guides & Loved Ones in Spirit) (yes… technically dead people) for yourself. So listening to those hunches you have… seeing that flash of light, hearing messages, or knowing answers. Messages can be about the past, present, and future from your Spirit Guides & Loved Ones.

Psychic is the ability to perceive energy and information directly through your aura and Mind. That means.. picking up on someone’s thoughts, feelings, or energy going on in their Mind. Telepathy is a thing… and that’s a psychic sensitivity.

Mediumship is like Intuition… the ability to perceive messages from Spirit, but for someone else. This is giving information from Spirit Guides & Loved Ones in Spirit to someone else. Past, present, and future info can come in through Spirit Guides & Loved Ones in Spirit.
